Niki and Gabi share beauty tips at Lehigh Valley Mall


Teens, tweens turn out to meet Niki and Gabi.

The Beatles had Shea Stadium to greet legions of teenage fans. Teen fashion icons and YouTube sensations Niki and Gabi DeMartino had the Lehigh Valley Mall on Saturday.

For parents and adults who probably haven't heard of them, Niki and Gabi are the teen and tween girls' virtual BFFs when it comes to the advice they dispense on fashion and makeup.

Heacham Manor Hotel beauty team grows



The beauty team at The Mulberry Retreat at Heacham Manor Hotel has been joined by two new members.

Reflexologist and therapist Jo Barker and therapist and spa specialist Hannah Jakeman have brought their expertise to further expand the services available at the beauty salon.

They join manager and therapist Kerry Wells and her business partner Michelle Mitchell, and therapists Megan Carr, Lianne Harvey and Coral Birch.

‘Dazzling’ photographer looked to show beauty, character of subjects

Sonja Rieger hoped people would see the beauty and the personalities of the people she photographed for her exhibit “Dazzling.” The nearly life-sized portraits are indeed striking with the subjects photographed against black backdrops.

The portraits are of the men who participate in the Platinum International Newcomer’s Pageant, an predominantly African American drag queen pageant held in a makeshift club near Birmingham. The pageant crowns a king and queen and winners spend their reign doing community activism as representatives of the pageant.

Donation by Garnier Israel of 500 care packages to female IDF soldiers spurs anti-Israel mudslinging on social media

NEW YORK — Cosmetics firm Garnier created a big social media stink last week after donating care packages to female Israel Defense Forces soldiers fighting in Operation Protective Edge.

With “take care” as its motto, Garnier’s gifts included soap and deodorant and were distributed by Israel advocacy nonprofit StandWithUs.
