Charleston RiverDogs blow up Justin BIeber, Miley Cyrus items (Video)

The minor league Charleston RiverDogs promised to bring back the spirit of the notorious Disco Demolition night by blowing up a bunch of Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus-related merchandise after a game. Sure enough, they went through with it.

Adam Levine has married Behati Prinsloo.The Maroon 5 singer tied the knot with his girlfriend in front of their family and friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico yesterday.

According to Us Weekly, the happy couple were joined by around 300 guests as they showed their love for one another in a beautiful ceremony.

I have interviewed hundreds of celebrated folks over the years and am often asked if I had a favorite. My answer has remained the same: James Garner. The first time consisted of a couple of days trailing him around the streets of New York City, where he was filming Barbarians at the Gate. He was funny and frank and somewhat embarrassed by the size and splendor of his trailer. I recall his co-star, Jonathan Pryce, knocking on its door once, looking around, and saying in that wry British way, "ah, so this is where the budget went." Garner guffawed.

The HBO trailer aside, James Garner was not only the most charming and honest of stars, he was the least interested in frills. Skye McCole Bartusiak, best known for playing Mel Gibson's daughter in The Patriot, has died. She was 21.

Bartusiak's longtime friend Abigail Breslin confirmed reports of the actress' death. "One of my very good friends and someone who was like a sister to me, Skye McCole Bartusiak passed away today. So devastated," the Little Miss Sunshine actress wrote on Twitter.

(Reuters) - Sci-fi sequel "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" beat a new horror flick, an animated family film and an adult comedy to keep its grip on the U.S. and Canadian box office title for a second straight weekend.

"Apes" collected $36 million in domestic ticket sales from Friday through Sunday, according to estimates from Rentrak, only the second summer film to top the box office for two consecutive weekends. Low-budget horror film "The Purge: Anarchy" finished in second place with $28.4 million.

Zendaya Coleman (better known as simply Zendaya) posted a string of Instagram videos explaining why she dropped out of Lifetime's Aaliyah biopic following the announcement of her replacement, Alexandra Shipp, on Friday.

The Disney star said that her decision wasn't based on her not being "talented enough" or "black enough."

"The production value wasn't there, there were complications with the music rights and I just felt like it wasn't being handled delicately considering the situation," she said.

James Gardner, star of hit US TV series', The Rockford Files and Maverick, has died at the age of 86.

He was also the star of films such as The Great Escape, Grand Prix and Oscar-winning Victor Victoria.

He had suffered from ill health since a severe stroke in 2008.

The Television Critics Association (TCA) recognized the top programs and actors of the 2013-2014 television season last night, at its 30th Annual TCA Awards presentation. The prestigious organization's event was held at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel, and emceed by Terry Crews, actor, comedian, and host of "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE" and star of FOX's hit precinct sitcom "BROOKLYN NINE-NINE."

The results were determined from votes cast by the TCA's membership, comprised of more than 220 professional TV critics and journalists from the United States and Canada. The winners represented an eclectic blend of shows and stars in 12 categories, putting the spotlight on the best of the best in comedy, drama, reality, miniseries, news, and youth programming. Highlights included AMC's celebrated drug drama "BREAKING BAD" winning Program of the Year for the second consecutive season, and Netflix's freshman prison dramedy, "ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK," taking home honors for Outstanding New Program.

The sequel to the 2011 film, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” and the second prequel to the 1968 Charlton Heston original, “The Planet of the Apes,” continues the saga of how humans let the apes take over the world.

Taking place 10 years after “Rise,” the humans have been decimated by the ALZ-113 virus, a manmade virus created in an effort to combat Alzheimer’s disease. The ALZ-113 virus became lethal to most humans and allowed the apes to take the next step in their evolution. As humanity became limited to the few who had a natural immunity to the virus, the genetically altered apes have continued to evolve. With apes now living in an organized society and capable of reading and speaking English, “Dawn” becomes the story of how the humans and apes were unable to coexist.

Kacy Catanzaro grew up watching "American Ninja Warrior" with her dad on the TV in their Belleville, N.J. home.

"I would watch it and say, 'I think I can do this,' and my dad would say, 'definitely, you can,'" Catanzaro, 24, says.

On Monday night, Catanzaro proved she could by becoming the first woman in "American Ninja Warrior" history to qualify for the show's finals in Las Vegas. There she will face a four-stage course modeled after Mt. Midoriyama in Japan.
