A Bollywoodlife.com reports says that the flat the actress has recently shifted to has been allegedly gifted by Salman. In fact, both of them have been spotted together several times and are openly praising each other. In fact, Salman had recently compared the Sri Lankan beauty to yesteryears actress Zeenat Aman. The gorgeous couple were also spotted together at Sidharth Malhotra’s Ek Villain success bash.

Here are five unbelievably expensive gifts that Bollywood superstars have given their famous friends.
2 >Shahrukh Khan- The badshah of Bollywood is known to maintain a high-profile lifestyle off the silver screen as well. Over the years, King Khan has gifted expensive tokens of appreciation to his friends and well-wishers. Shahrukh recently came in the news for gifting Abhishek Bachchan a Harley Davidson motorbike. From what we can gauge from SRK and Abhishek's tweets, SRK gifted Junior B a Harley after the latter gifted SRK a bicycle! Shahrukh had before that made headlines when he gifted friend and director Farah Khan a Mercedes Benz E Class for their film 'Om Shanti Om' and a Hyundai SUV after the release of 'Main Hoon Na'. Even though his superhero film 'Ra.One' did not live up to the expectations, SRK spent Rs 1 crore each while gifting Arjun Rampal, Anubhav Sinha and Rajinikanth, a BMW each.
3 >Vidhu Vinod Chopra- Now this is one 'gift' that has stayed for long in public memory. In a publicized event of sorts, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra gifted a Rolls Royce Phantom to megastar Amitabh Bachchan for his performance in the film 'Eklavya'. What followed however, was an altogether different story. Soon after Chopra's gift of a flashy pair of wheels to Big B, news of Big B returning the same to the showroom the next day appeared. If that wasn't all, this 'gimmick' was seen as a way of waiving off taxes by Amitabh Bachchan. According to reports Big B charged just rupee one for 'Eklavya' and hence, Chopra gave him this extremely expensive gift.
4 >Salman Khan- Salman Khan has become synonymous with being generous in the flashy corridors of Bollywood. The actor who has a penchant for gifting and helping well-wishers and loved ones, did the same for former girlfriend Katrina Kaif. If reports are to be believed then Salman gifted Kat a black SUV on her birthday a while back. In 2012 when Salman and Katrina were still together, Sallu bhai had gifted his ladylove an expensive Audi. However, after the two parted ways, rumours of Katrina contacting an agent to sell the same car made its way. Even though Kat may have sold her expensive gift, we think Salman deserves a pat on the back for his choice of wheels.

Apparently, in true filmi style the celebrated filmmaker gifted a Rs 1.25 crore worth Audi A8 W12 to rumoured wife Rani Mukerji. Aditya has never professed his love for Rani publicly although rumour mills have always been abuzz about their romance. Aditya's very expensive gift to Rani was touted to be his gift to her before they finally say "I do".
6 > Karan Johar- Filmmaker Karan Johar who is known for making larger-than-life films for the big screen is a man with a big heart. We know that because the celebrity director apparently gifted nothing less than an extravagant Ferrari to actress Katrina Kaif. The story that goes around this big gift by the filmmakers is that Karan Johar asked Katrina Kaif to do an item number in his film 'Agneepath'. The actress agreed and reportedly refused to charge anything for the same. So overwhelmed was Karan by this gesture that he apparently decided to return the favour and gift something to the beautiful actress. Karan is believed to have gifted Katrina a Ferrari for shaking a leg to 'Chikni Chameli'.
