Dakota Johnson has banned her mum Melanie Griffith from watching Fifty Shades Of Grey when it’s released next year.
Dakota plays leading lady Anastasia Steele in the raunchy flick and although Melanie won’t be heading down to the cinema on Valentine’s Day 2015, she has had a sneak preview of Mr Grey’s room of pain.She explained: ‘I have not seen Fifty Shades Of Grey. I don’t think I’m going to see it…[Dakota] was like, “You guys cannot come. There’s no way.” So we’re not going. I did go visit for a couple of days when they were shooting just normal stuff. I did see the room of pain — I did go in there and check it out.’
And, er, she doesn’t seem to have any qualms with her daughter stripping off for the S&M-stuffed movie.
‘She’s amazing — so good. It’s just so beautiful to see her doing this,’ she continued (we assume she’s talking about acting in general…).
‘She had her mom and her dad and her grandmother and she’s just taken us all and thrown us away,’ she told indiewire.com. ‘She’s like, “Here I am.”‘
