Poor Chelsee really should have looked in the mirror before
stepping in front of loads of cameras on this occasion, but she's not
the only one to forget
Poor old Chelsee Healey.
She's usually polished to perfection in bright colourful outfits.
But
the party-girl was sporting less than perfect concealer tidemarks under
her eyes while she celebrated her birthday at MediaCityUK on Saturday
night.
The star's massive make-up fail was hard to miss as she partied with friends in Manchester.
But Chelsee isn't the first stunner to draw attention for
all the wrong reasons, and sometimes a gorgeous dress and glossy hair
just can't save patches of powder, smudged eye-liner and well, a
two-toned face.
From Claudia Winkleman to Nicole Kidman,
they've all had a red-faced moment after seeing the photos, but then
their charm and good looks usally make up for it.

Claudia Winkleman and her smudged up eyes:
Someone really needs to buy Claudia a compact mirror, she's
been caught with make-up in all the wrong places a few too many times.
The TV presenter caused a fair few jaws to drop
when she arrived at the GQ Awards last year with a mega case of panda eyes.
But that wasn't the only disaster, because she also had a very orange face to finish the look off.
Like
she'd had a quick nap before the ceremony, overslept and had to run
straight to the red carpet. It's happened to the best of us.
On
seeing the pictures the next day, Claudia tweeted: "Oh my. They're not
wrong. Eyeliner going in the bin."
But after a bit of encouragement from
celebs like
Lily Allen, she tweeted she was getting it back out of the bin.
Claudia has previously talked about her fake tan addiction, saying her husband hates it.
"He’s
not happy, but what I think about husbands is it’s best not to ask
their opinion. I've learnt that and I've been married 15 years. So don’t
say, 'Does it bother you, sweetheart, that I smell of biscuits and that
I look like I've rolled around with some hippos in mud?' because then
he might say yes. If I’m being a nice wife, which is rare, then I try
and do it when he’s away. But I’m happier when I'm orange, that’s the
bottom line," she told Heat magazine.
At least she's happy.
Miley Cyrus goes two-toned:
Miley Cyrus may be known for her controversial performances,
but she turned heads for all the wrong reasons when she had this makeup
fail.
The star tried a striped look out, after adding
some extra powder to the bottom half of her face, and seemingly
completely forgetting about the top half.
The result? Half brown, half white. Interesting.
It
happened at the Maxim Hot 100 Party in May Last year, but it was soon
forgotten after she smiled widely for the cameras - a complete contrast
to pulling out her tongue like we have become accustomed to.
We can hardly raise eyebrows at this, we have seen her straddling inflatable penises recently after all.

Leighton Meester scares us all
Leighton Meester was a vision in black at the American Eagle
Outfitters preview party in 2009, but we found it hard to focus on
anything but her face.
Not in a good way.
The
Gossip Girl star wore far too much purple eyeshadow, and added bright
red lippy which made her look like she was going fancy dress rather than
glamorous.
We imagine her stylist got a bit of a grilling after this one.
But,
apparently unaware, the brunette babe kept smiling and laughing her way
along the carpet, probably only realising the extent of the problem
afterwards.
She's usually so chic, we will pass this off as an anomaly night and move swiftly on.
Nicole Kidman goes white-eyed:
While we can't forget Claudia's terrible case of over-done
eyeliner, poor Nicole Kidman had quite the opposite problem when she
failed to blend in two patches of white powder under her eyes.
Probably
keen to hide any hint of dark circles and shine, the blonde beauty
actually drew more attention to the area with the patchy appearance.
Stunning
at the Nine premiere in 2009, the actress didn't look her happiest so
we have to guess she latched on sooner or later, but if anyone can pull
this off it's her.
And the ample amount of cleavage she had on show helped divert attention quickly too.
Eva Longoria makes Nicole's eyes look normal
At least Eva Longoria's makeup fail came while still in the
car - most are halfway down the red carpet before they realise, and THEN
what do you do?
The actress was spotted riding in the
passenger seat while leaving Katsuya restaurant in early 2011, and had
two huge white lines of powder under each of her eyes.
It actually makes Nicole's look completely normal.
We
have to hope Eva had nipped to the toilets before she left to apply the
makeup, and hadn't sat through an entire meal with the situation.
But
with her ever glossy brown locks and some very catchy eyes, we will let
her off - she is in the comfort of her own car after all.
Kelly Osbourne goes multi-coloured
We know by now that Kelly Osbourne likes to make an
impression now and again, often with some very out-there outfits and
bright hair.
But even we were shocked to see her with a
bright orange face and purple lips at The Art of Elysium's 5th Annual
Heaven Gala last January.
And no, there wasn't a particular colour theme to warrant this.
Showing
off her white hair (remember that?) the star appeared to have added far
too much dark foundation, and unaware of that glitch, then added some
statement lippy.
On it's own, it's very Kelly, together? Well.
Of all the star, she could pass it off as just another crazy red carpet look and we love her for them.
Has Melissa Joan Hart cast a bad spell?
We would have excused a few unusual red carpet looks while
Melissa Joan Hart was playing Sabrina The Teenage Witch - you know,
spells gone wrong and all, getting into character.
But it was at the Frozen premiere last year that we saw the actress really mess up in the makeup department.
Wearing
stunning blue and showing off some lovely blonde curls, she would have
stolen the show had it not been for the giant patch of white powder on
her forehead.
Keen to hide shine, Melissa must have got the old sponge out in the car again, and dabbed a few too many times.
Someone fetch these celebrities a torch please. That, or stick to home for make-up touch ups.
