Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on why she loves designing underwear "for all shapes and sizes"

The model talks to Harper's Bazaar about her successful career as a lingerie designer

British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the September cover star for Harper's Bazaar.

In her interview with Esquire's editor in chief, Alex Bilmes, the 27-year-old model revealed that making her Marks & Spencer Rosie For Autograph underwear range was high on her list of priorities.

"I didn't want to put out a product where women would think, "Oh, she's made something that only a twenty-something model can wear," Rosie told the magazine. "I love women and I wanted to make something for all women."

Unsurprisingly, the subject of underwear is often all Rosie's fans want to talk to her about.

"Women actually come up to me and show me their bras," she says. "I get tweets and texts, and people will Instagram what they're wearing, and it's women of all shapes and sizes and ages, and that makes me very proud."

Despite her successes as both a model, designer and actress, Rosie claims it's not down to luck.

"I've been given some incredible opportunities but you also have to be focused. You don't get far without goals, drive, commitment, sacrifice.

Her interview with the magazine is teamed with a glamorous 12-page shoot, photographed by David Slijper.

How does she look? In her element and dressed in statement designer pieces from Donna Karan, Stella McCartney and Saint Laurent.
