Abs-olutely fabulous: Arrow star Stephen Amell shows off his impressive six-pack to cheering crowds at Comic-Con

Well, there's nothing wrong with his body.

Stephen Amell was persuaded to show off his amazingly muscular torso at Comic-Con's Warner Bros. Television/DC Entertainment panel at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego on Saturday afternoon.

And hard rock turned out to be a good description of the Arrow star's physique, as he displayed his rippled six-pack to a cheering audience.

In a video taken at the event, the 33-year-old is seen lifting up his black T-shirt after a determined male fan in the audience asked him to 'on behalf of thousands of women in Hall H.'

Stephen tried to wriggle out of the request, agreeing with a female panellist who pointed out there were children in the audience, and he urged fans to 'tune in on Wednesday night,' referring to the evening the show normally airs on the CW.

But that would be a long wait as the third season of the super-hero drama doesn't bow until October 8. Shooting started in Vancouver, Canada, earlier this month.

With the audience chanting, 'Take it off, take it off,' a quick vote in the auditorium sealed the deal and Stephen obligingly lifted his T-shirt to gales of laughter and mass applause, both on and off the stage.

At the panel, Stephen was joined by his Arrow co-stars Emily Bett Rickards, Willa Holland and Katie Cassidy along with cast members and executive producers from DC's Gotham, The Flash and Constantine.

Arrow follows Oliver Queen, who survives on a desert island for five years after he and his businessman father are lost at sea when their yacht sinks in a storm.

His father dies but Oliver is rescued by mysterious islanders. He learns not only how to fight and survive but also of his father's unscrupulous business dealings.

He returns to civilization determined to put things right armed only with a bow and disguised with a hood from one of his island mentors.

Stephen is married to actress-model Cassandra Jean and they have a nine-month-old daughter, Mavi.

Meanwhile, actor Kevin Bacon got a warm welcome from fans at Fox's The Following panel on Sunday at the Hilton Bayfront.

He was joined by actors Sam Underwood, Jessica Stroup and Shawn Ashmore.

The drama centers on a charismatic yet psychotic serial killer who communicates with other active serial killers and creates a cult of believers following his every command.
