Handcuffs, Outkast And Tent Climbing Ruled At Splendour

Now that the cars are packed and planes are filling up with homebound punters – some a little worse for wear - we can start to process the absolutely amazing weekend that Splendour In The Grass 2014 provided. All pics by Peter Sharp.

Whether you chose to make the trip to North Byron Parklands for the three-day event or lived vicariously via social media that thrust envy-levels into overload, there was so much going on across numerous states and various sideshows across the country that no doubt you missed some of the action.

Luckily, we were there to capture the best moments, and you can relive the magic right here.

Day One

As the masses arrived onsite and got their bearings, Kelis brought the sass, Interpol excelled and Outkast lived up to the hype surrounding their reunion and only Australian show. Check out all the action here from day one right here.

Day Two

Day two may have been one of the greatest in the festival's history. City & Colour and Foals (pictured) stepped up and made worthy headliner replacements, while some other acts fell short. Find out who else excelled and those who didn't make the cut here.

Day Three

It's usually day three that things get a little whacky, as thus we saw nightmare-inducing inflatable sharks, tent climbing and nudity, along with stand out performances from Lily Allen — who found herself at the wrong end of the law with a fake arrest at Gold Coast airport - and Jungle. Climb aboard the moss buss.
