Rihanna’s Stalker, Kevin McGlynn Arrested

A 53-year-old homeless man by the name of Kevin McGlynn has been arrested for allegedly stalking Rihanna. The man was taken into custody on Thursday after leaving notes threatening the Barbadian singer at her rented home in New York.

According to a report from the New York Post’s Page Six, McGlynn was charged with stalking, menacing and harassment. He was held without bail after it was found that he delivered insulting and threatening notes to the singer. On first occasion, it was July 1st and he repeated the incident again on July 8th.

This isn’t the first time that Rihanna has become the victim of stalking. Earlier this year, she was forced to put her Pacific Palisades home on the market after only owning it for the span of a year’s time. A stalker by the name of Steveland Barrow mistook her neighbor’s house for hers and showed up unannounced. Afterward, she was able to secure a restraining order against him when he wrongly broke into her neighbor’s home.

In addition, she was stalked last June by a guy named Robert Melanson. She received a restraining order against him, as well, and he was ordered to stay at least 100 yards from her. That was the highly publicized incident where he was caught sleeping on the roof of her property last summer. Luckily for her, she was not at home at the time of the incident. She told the court that she feared for her safety at the time due to Robert’s instability and because of his criminal history.
