Atwell has already confirmed that she’s returning for “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” but she told me during our interview that it wouldn’t be as the elderly version of Peggy we saw in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” So how is a WWII-era make to way into a future with evil robots? Theories of a dream sequence are already floating around, but there’s no official word yet.
Though D’Esposito was appearing with “Agent Carter,” he deals with the movie end of the business more regularly, and ahead of Marvel Studios’ big Hall H panel, all anyone can talk about is the rumor of Joaquin Phoenix being close to signing onto “Doctor Strange.”
So how are those negotiations going? D’Esposito claims to know nothing, but the smirk on his face and eagerness to leave the area might be enough to fuel some fan speculation.
