June 2012: Us confirmed that the modelizing Maroon 5 frontman, now 35, was caught kissing Prinsloo, now 25, in Hawaii two months following his split from her close friend and fellow VS model Anne Vyalitsyna. "Behati always had a crush on Adam," an insider said. "And she was a little jealous of Anne."
Oct. 24, 2012: Red carpet official! The couple coordinated in black as they made their first public appearance together at the GQ Gentlemen's Ball in NYC. Levine "gently guided Behati with his right hand on the small of her back," an onlooker told Us. "They seemed very cozy at dinner, cuddling up a few times."
May 2013: Us broke news that the Voice judge had moved on from Prinsloo with Sports Illustrated supermodel Nina Agdal. (Prinsloo kept mum when Us asked about her relationship status at a Victoria's Secret event that month.) "Behati was in and out, but they finally ended it," an insider explained at the time. "It wasn't an abrupt ending."
July 2013: Surprise! In a quick turn-around, Us confirmed that Levine and Prinsloo reunited and became engaged after their brief split. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles," a rep for the singer told Us. A source added: "He realized he really does love her and she was the one. They are in love." It was later reported that Levine told Agdal of the engagement via text message.

July 17, 2013: Ring bling! The Namibian native was photographed showing off her new rock to friends at Mercer Kitchen in NYC. "Behati is thrilled! She knew that they were meant to be together," an insider told Us of the engagement. Levine later admitted in an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest that it was "nerve-wracking" asking Prinsloo's father for permission.
July 18, 2013: The following day, Prinsloo gushed to Us about her engagement ring while attending a Victoria's Secret fragrance event in NYC. "I forgot I slept with [the ring] on last night, and I woke up and went, 'Oh, hello!'" she said. "It hasn't even sunk in yet!"
Aug. 28, 2013: Moves like Jaggar! Prinsloo posted a sexy (and shirtless!) picture of her hubby-to-be in black underwear via Instagram. "70's porn called. It wants it's vibe back. Immediately," she captioned.
Oct. 19, 2013: The future-in-laws! Levine grabbed a bite to eat with his fiancee's parents at Mozza in Hollywood. "The Prinsloo's have arrived," the model tweeted at the time. "#BOOM #family #love."
Oct. 28, 2013: Levine joked about his flip-flopping views on marriage while discussing his engagement to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. "Famous last words, 'I'll never get married,'" he said. "I still don't necessarily think you have to get married unless you meet someone that makes you want to marry them. And then you marry them and it's wonderful."

Oct. 31, 2013: The future spouses dressed up as characters from Stanley Kubrick's 1999 psycho-sexual drama Eyes Wide Shut for a Halloween party in L.A. The duo played married couple Dr. Bill Hartford (Tom Cruise) and Alice Harford (Nicole Kidman) who attended a masked orgy hosted by a secret society in the film.
Nov. 13, 2013: Lucky lady! The "Maps" singer sat front row and cheered on his bride-to-be as she walked the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in NYC. (Two years earlier, he performed at the show with Maroon 5 and serenaded ex Vyalitsyna on the catwalk.) The next day, Levine and a makeup-free Prinsloo were spotted enduring the chilly weather during a leisurely stroll.
Dec. 5, 2013: Addicted! Levine admitted he went to the extreme to play Candy Crush one night during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "[Behati] was sleeping the other night, and it was on her phone and not mine. This is so sad," he said, laughing. "You know how they have the thumbprint IDs on the iPhone? I needed to buy more lives...she kind of half woke up and was like, 'What are you doing?'"
Dec. 23, 2013: Christmas card? Check! Prinsloo posted an adorable picture of the Voice mentor as he wrapped Christmas presents. "My ghost of Christmas present.....get it get it?" she quipped.
Jan. 2, 2014: Best ever? The twosome reenacted the often-copied 1987 Dirty Dancing lake scene when Johnny (Patrick Swayze) lifts Baby (Jennifer Grey) over his head while playing in the pool during their Los Cabos, Mexico vacation.

March 2, 2014: Hot! The pair hit up Vanity Fair's Oscars party in West Hollywood. Levine looked dapper in a Salvatore Ferragamo tux with slicked-back hair. Prinsloo stunned in a dark cranberry red Calvin Klein Collection dress. "They had their arms around each other," an eyewitness said. "They were having a great time."
April 26, 2014: The Begin Again actor was joined by Prinsloo at the Chanel closing party of the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC. "She makes me the best person I can be," Levine gushed of the model at the event. "She's the best in the world."
May 2014: Err, Adam is that you? The rocker debuted new platinum blonde locks in a sexy selfie with Prinsloo via Instagram. "Apocalypse prep course complete," he captioned. The look, however, only lasted a couple of weeks.
June 23, 2014: Levine opened up about his proposal during an appearance on Live! With Kelly & Michael. "It doesn't matter how certain you think you are. You still get down on that knee, and you get woozy, and you're like, 'I'm doing this, oh my god," he said. "I'm a confident person, but I got on that knee and everything changed immediately. I lost my equilibrium. I had to get on the other one."
