Anja Nissen - How successful will The Voice Australia winner be?

Will The Voice Australia Series 3 winner Anja Nissen be a success or a failure?

The 18-year-old from New South Wales needed a Wild Card Save to make the final of the hit Channel Nine shot, but proved her popularity when being crowned the winner in Monday's night's final.

She walked away with $100,000 in prize money and a recording contract with Universal Music as a result of winning The Voice.

But will the singer's career be a success or failure with the backing of her mentor Will.i.am?

Bookmaker Sportsbet make her $9.00 to top the US Billboard Hot 100 at some stage in her career and $10 to have No.1 Album across the pond.

They make her a $15 chance to win a Billboard Award and even bigger at $21 to win a Grammy ($21).

Success in the UK is seen as a harder task for the teenage Nissen, with a No.1 Single priced at $11 and a No.1 Album offered at $13, while picking up a Brit Award is priced at $17.

“Anja was amazing throughout the whole series and Will.i.am is intent on taking her all the way to the top of the international scene. There’s a good chance she’ll be our most successful Voice winner to date,” sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne said.

The Voice Series 1 winner Karise Eden's first album went to number one in Australia and she also saw the single Stay With Me Baby hit top spot in 2012, but things have been quiet since.

Series 2 winner Harrison Craig also saw his album reach number one on both sides of the Tasman, but his best singles performance was when his version of Unchained Melody reached number two.
