Here Are Your Favorite Supermodels Sans Pounds Of Makeup

We here at HuffPost Style believe that au naturale will always be your best look. In honor of this, we launched #BeautifulME, a photo series honoring and encouraging those who decide to go makeup-free.

As part of this ongoing series, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate stars who have shown off their fresh faces with pride. Models including Gisele Bündchen and Chrissy Teigen have ditched the foundation, concealer, mascara and lipstick at times, giving us reassuring proof that you don't need a full face of makeup or perfectly curled hair to feel your best. And while they sometimes might wear a subtle hint of makeup here or there, their off-duty, less-is-more approach to beauty is inspiring.

Beauty School: lipstick and winged liner in 90 seconds

What we love is a make-up artist who can simplify beauty. So when an international contender like Blair Patterson - also director of global make-up artistry at Estée Lauder - promises to teach us the basics in 90 seconds, well then we want it on record - on film even.

For this short video how-to, Patterson decided to teach us how to create fuller lips and winged eyeliner - two of beauty's most burning questions. "It's really, really simple," Patterson told us. And then, he went on to show us how to do it in three minutes...

Dragon slayer guided by beauty

PIERRE Ryckmans, the late Belgian Sinologist, was one of the greatest intellectuals ever to live in Australia. But spend any time with Girald, and you start to see not what is, but what can be.

Beauty really IS skin deep: Study finds good-looking people suffer just as many illnesses as their plainer counterparts

  • Study at Brunel University found good looks do not protect against illness

  • Almost 5,000 British teenagers were scanned using 3D scanners

  • Results found no association between symmetrical facial features and 16 illnesses including measles, mumps, tonsillitis and flu

  • Symmetrical features long associated with being more attractive signalling a person has good genes and is in good health

Why Kate Middleton is not a 'style icon'

As the Duchess of Cambridge is awarded the serious sartorial accolade of a place in the Vanity Fair Hall of Fame, its International Best Dressed List’s highest honour, I ask myself: why? Is it right that Kate be ‘'lauded the most polished, eclectic and stylish of dressers'’? Is it appropriate that she be rubbing shoulder pads with the likes of Anna Piaggi, Karl Lagerfeld and Catherine Deneuve? Do cap-sleeved shift dresses, nude hose and cork wedges a fashion icon make?
