Chiabra is reportedly the founder and chairman of Royal Yacht and was recently romantically linked to "Gossip Girl" star Jessica Szohr.
He was last spotted with the 29-year-old actress in June, but by the looks of his last few cozy days with Gomez, it seems the two are no longer seeing each other.
The newly 22-year-old starlet was seen getting close to Chiabra on the deck of a yacht Tuesday while drying off. She also held on tight to the hunk while the pair rode a Jet Ski.
While Gomez's famous on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber failed to publicly wish her a happy birthday, the brunette beauty took to Twitter to thank her friends and fans for their well wishes.
"Thank you SO much for my birthday wishes this has been the BEST birthday yet! THANK YOU!!!!," she wrote.
