NY Rangers’ Henrik Lundqvist and NY Giants WR Victor Cruz named to Vanity Fair’s International Best-Dressed list

Vanity Fair's list includes people from all walks of life, including actors, athletes, artists, novelists and more

Henrik Lundqvist is the Rangers’ King, Victor Cruz is the Giants’ salsa king, and now both have risen into the class of New York fashion royalty.

For the second straight year, Lundqvist, the Rangers’ dapper Swedish goaltender, has been named to Vanity Fair's International Best-Dressed List. He's joined on the list by Big Blue's star wide receiver. It's the second time on the Vanity Fair list for Cruz, who also made the cut in 2012.

The annual list includes people from all walks of life, including actors, athletes, artists, novelists, designers, and businessmen and women.

Lundqvist has long been revered for his stellar suits, slicked hair, and movie-star looks, but it would appear Cruz is gaining ground, garnering respect for his attention to the playbook constructed by his stated style icon, producer and musician Pharrell Williams.

Since athletes love to compete, and both Lundqvist and Cruz already raise plenty of money for charity, the Daily News suggests a Zoolander-style, charity walk-off event between the Blueshirts’ stud and Big Blue’s star to determine who looks best in his duds.

It would be tough for Lundqvist to compete with Cruz’s salsa, though, would it not? There’s only one way to find out.
