Last night on “Conan,” the cast of “Orange Is the New Black” appeared together on a late night talk show for the first time. But before the festivities got underway, Conan O’Brien received a last-minute change-up regarding his hair stylist.
Laverne Cox, who plays Sophia Burnett on “Orange,” stepped in to fill in for “sick” Carol, where she offered Conan a no-nonsense analysis of his red mane. “I don’t know who did that wig for you, but you need to get your money back,” she said. “You need to understand, you’re turning off a huge segment of the demographic that you could be reaching. People are afraid of clowns. I’m scared just looking at you.”
