Anna Paquin sets Larry King straight on bisexuality: 'It doesn't really work like that'

The ‘True Blood’ star explained that things don't 'really work’ the way King might think after he asked if she's a 'non-practicing' bisexual.

Anna Paquin's bisexuality is not a "past-tense thing."

The "True Blood" star, 32, matter-of-factly answered Larry King's questions about her sexuality during an interview on his show "Larry King Now," after he wanted to know if she's a "non-practicing bisexual."

"Well, I am married to my husband," Paquin said, referring to her co-star hubby Stephen Moyer. "And we are happily, monogamously married."

When the legendary anchor man asked if she was bisexual, as in, before her marriage, Paquin had to clarify.

"Well, I don't think it's a past-tense thing," she said. "Are you still straight if you are with somebody?… If you were to break up with them or if they were to die, it doesn't prevent your sexuality from existing. It doesn't really work like that."

King, who has been married eight times, ended his inquiry with a joke.

"Stop with wishful thinking," he said.

Paquin came out as bisexual in 2010. She married Moyer, 44, the same year, and in 2012 gave birth to the couple's fraternal twins Charlie and Poppy.
