Actress Cheryl Hines weds Robert Kennedy Jr. in Cape Cod

The pair were joined by 300 family and friends who helped celebrate their nuptials.
Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines has wed her fiance, Robert Kennedy Jr., in Hyannis Port, Mass., confirms US Weekly.

The two wed on Saturday, Aug. 2, at Kennedy’s six-acre family compound on Cape Cod.

Three hundred guests, including actors Larry David, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Kevin Nealon, watched as Hines walked down the aisle in a white strapless, knee-length dress designed by Romona Keveza. In her hands, she clutched a bouquet of white roses and blue hydrangeas — the wedding party’s colors.

Kennedy, 60, and Hines, 48, then exchanged vows, which took approximately 30 minutes. The groom wore a black suit with black striped tie.

Kennedy, an environmental lawyer and radio host, is the son of Ethel and Robert F. Kennedy. He is the nephew of John F. Kennedy. In addition to appearing on HBO’s hit series Curb Your Enthusiasm, Hines played a lead role in ABC’s Suburgatory.

On April 29, the couple made news of their engagement public during Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix, Ariz. At that time they had been dating for two years.

That same month, Hines explained to Us Weekly why her and Kennedy are such a wonderful match. “We share the same values,” noted the actress. “Family first.”

This is the second marriage for Hines, who was previously married to management firm founder Paul Young. She has a daughter, 10-year-old Catherine from that relationship. They divorced in 2010.

This is the third marriage for Kennedy. He has a son, Bobby III, 29, and a daughter, Kathleen, 26, with his first wife Emily Ruth Black. He has four more children, Conor, 19, Finn, 16, Aiden, 13, and Kyra, 18, with his second wife, the late Mary Kathleen Richardson.
