Cristiano Ronaldo had "fun" launching the campaign for his second CR7 Underwear Collection.
The 29-year-old soccer star has created his second range of undergarments for his brand CR7 and has posed for a range of photos wearing the designs on offer. One option is a pair of navy Y-fronts with orange lining and lighter blue panels, with the logo CR7 printed on the front.
The images were shot by fashion photographer Rankin, and over the weekend they were projected onto iconic landmarks in seven cities; London, Madrid, New York, Lisbon, Paris, Milan and Berlin.
In the English capital Cristiano's toned physique appeared near Waterloo station, while in Lisbon the chosen building was Praça do Comércio. The number of locations represents the famous number seven on the back of his soccer shirt while on the pitch, with the project titled Rankin X Ronaldo for CR7 Underwear.
As well as modelling the pieces the sportsman also pulls a range of active poses such as being caught in mid-kick. It seems all the hard work paid off as the Portuguese hunk is pleased with the finished results.
"I am really proud of my second CR7 Underwear collection and wanted to launch it in a way that was personal to me, and to have some fun with it," he said in a statement.
"The number seven has always been close to my heart, so I was honoured to unveil my new collection in seven cities around the globe. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Rankin and incredible to see the images released in this unique way."
Cristiano launched CR7 in 2006 and expanded his business in 2008. Working with designer Richard Chai he has been able to move his brand forward and achieve his goals in the world of fashion.
"Since having the opportunity to work on my own brand, fashion and design have become a passion of mine and I’ve really enjoyed working on the second collection. We used our experiences with the first collection to build on the range and I am really pleased with the new styles." he added.
